August 30th, 2009 - Expanded Hours and Brookings Wine Club - We have expanded hour dinner hours to five nights per week. You can now dine at the Bistro Tuesday through Saturday night. Also, peruse or hand-selected beer and wine list and enjoy a beverage in our smoke-free environment or on our lovely patio facing Hillcrest Park. Reservations are recommended, but not necessary. Dress is casual, families are more than welcome and we have something from everyone on our menu.

The Brookings Wine Club had it's first meeting on August 26th. It was a great success with about 35 participants partaking in a five course meal paired with superb wines from around the world. The Wine Club will be held every month on a regular date (yet to be determined). Also, Wine Club 'members' will enjoy special benefits during the rest of the month, such as: wine nights with discounted wine and special pricing on bottles. Even our first meeting filled up incredibly fast, so if you would like to be on the list of people that get email alerts for seating we would highly recommend contacting us or joining the mailing list.

May 1st, 2009 - MayDay! MayDay! The Cottonwood ship is slow, but steady...always sailing towards a better horizon. We are now open for dinner service on Friday and Saturday evening! Our menu will include some of the same offerings that you are accustomed to from the lunch menu, but much more. We will be changing the entrees often, seasonally...around what is available and in season...and most importantly, around great ingredients. Please check back if you would like to see what will be on the menu. Also, we are experimenting with various social networking tools to keep our customers informed, so please consider connecting with us through Facebook or Twitter.

Friday and Saturday services will be classy, but approachable. You should expect to dine on amazing culinary classics in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The beer and wine lists are exceptional. Our servers are sharp and engaged. We think you will be hard-pressed to find a better dining experience in our area. Come and see for yourself!

January 25th, 2009 - Catering and Office/Meeting Kits - We are happy to announce two new items at the Bistro.

Catering - We are slowly rolling out a full-scale catering program through the Bistro. If you have a small gathering at home or your office or are planning a big wedding, we can help. Cottonwood can transform food as an after thought to food as a centerpiece. From baked goods and appetizers to full service meals, we will make your guests happy! Office/Meeting Kits - Tired of burnt brown water and stale donuts? Cottonwood Bistro can help you get that huge raise or promotion you've been hoping for. Our coffee will make you smarter and younger and our baked goods are so good that people will want to be your best friend just to know where you got them. Think of the possibilities!

Seriously though, if you want to bring something more than the standard fare, talk to us. We can provide your office or meeting with 3 liter insulated airpots of coffee from the 2009 American Roaster of the Year and delectable baked goods of all types and styles.
